We are all excited with what Ashes of Creation has to offer, from its wide variety of classes to its stunning graphics, and even its combat mode, we really can say that this game will offer us a lot of things as the development gets getting better and better. So let us take a look as Intrepid developers take on a World Boss in Ashes of Creation.
This boss fight will not just showcase the interaction between the boss and the players, but will also give us a hint of how the world of Ashes of Creation will look like, and other things you can do in the game. We can already notice that it shows us a new tropical jungle type environment that recently got added to the alpha 1 pretest map.

The Intrepid developers head to the boss known as the Ancients. The Ancients was also referred to by Steven as the Twin Bosses, since you will have to fight 2 bosses in a single fight. “He who saunders the land and he who rents the sky” are also a fit description to this twin boss as one deals damage from the ground and the other from above. They also have a lot of elemental attacks, they can also summon crystals that leach mana from players. Ability that can toss players around and an AOE explosion. Overall the twin boss was really interesting and challenging especially in an early alpha entry fight. This fight can always give us a rough idea of how combat and boss fights are in Ashes of Creation.
We can also notice that players are harvesting wood, and as they cut the tree, it falls on the ground, and that small detail can really give us excitement of what more this game can offer. We can also see Steven killing griffins and some spiders.
We can also notice some lighting and shadows of trees in the ground in this game play. It’s always nice to see this little details especially in its alpha stage because we can see that the development is going pretty well and it makes the game more promising.
