Ashes of Creation has full of magical creatures and environments that you can explore. After traversing the world above, you might want to check out what happens and what you can see in the Underrealm.
The Underrealm is a vibrant environment where bioluminescence abounds in the fauna and flora that exist. The caverns and underground valleys provide new destinations for civilization to evolve. Bringing the node system into the depths of the world may awaken darker creatures than the surface.
The Underrealm is home to one of the races you can play at which is Tulnar. They are believed to have fled the Underrealm after the Divine Gate was closed and after corruption happened in Verra. During gameplay, Intrepid Studios’ Creative Director Steven Sharif and other developers went to the Underrealm through an entrance hidden in some ancient ruins. Upon entering, you would need a cleric who has a special ability that can clear up poisonous gas blocking the entrance. Sharif and other developers also fought felines, mushrooms, and the mini-boss called Sorrow’s Hunger.
The Underrrealm will not just supply you with different crafting resources and creatures to fight but also allow you to go through alternative passages throughout the game.
